Shine Grant
Finalizing Westside’s financial report for the SHINE grant received in December 2024 brought home the reality of how important those funds have been to the operation of our museum for the past 12 months! Education & Our Museum
Education has always been a priority for Westside. We encourage and welcome teachers & students in the area to visit & take advantage of our museum exhibits & tours led by experienced historians, including Dr. Ray Thompson & Prof. Sylvia Bradley. The museum budget is completely dependent on donations & volunteers who do everything, from cleaning & setting up exhibits to taking out trash.
Genealogy & Family History
Our Genealogy & Family History Library & Research Center is used by guests looking for long lost relatives, family roots and connections to Delmarva, guided and instructed by Dr. Ray Thompson.
